Jet Blue Airways has been in the news lately – that pilot who frightened everyone and had to be restrained meant that the Jet Blue team has been scrambling to reimburse all those passengers for the prices of their air fare — but despite that pilot freaking out, Jet Blue remains one of my three favorite airlines to fly. Here in Los Angeles, Jet Blue Airways will be at booth #547 at the International Pow Wow in April. Any and all travel media attending the International Pow Wow should stop by their booth and hear about their comparatively low fares, award-winning service and (a huge plus!) the free TV and screens built into the airplane set backs. Nothing helps pass the time on a long flight like 5 back-to-back episodes of Spongebob Squarepants, am I right, kids? Thank you, DirecTV.
Jet Blue Airways is offering a discount for members of the media traveling to the International Pow Wow in Los Angeles. If you haven;t gotten around to being your ticket, this could be the motivating factor — and yes, the International Pow Wow is indeed well worth your time. The offer is valid for online bookings only, using discount code PWOWOW2012. The valid dates for this discounted air travel are April 13-17 (outbound) and April 19-23 (return flights). The discount offers 10% off the round trip base fare for travel from any jet Blue city to all of the Los Angeles airports, namely, LAX, LGB, SAN, and BUR airports. Burbank is even more convenient to downtown LA than is LAX, believe it or not, and it’s a smaller, less hassle-prone airport as well.
With Jet Blue Airways, an overnight stay is never required, the first checked bag is free, and all fares are one-way. The company is also aiming to be the first airline to be able to offer inflight Wi-Fi (broadband) later this year. In flight TV shows and Wi-Fi, comfortable and cheaper flights, and no fee for the first piece o checked luggage are all great reasons to fly Jet Blue. As for the occasional pilot or flight attendant freak-out…well, statistically, it’s safe to say that’s not happening on your flight. Go Jet Blue!
