Luxe Hotels are a worldwide collection of upscale hotels for business travel — although from what I’ve seen, they’re pretty great for leisure travel as well. I’m, naturally, most familiar with the two near my Los Angeles neighborhood. The Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel is right in the heart of Beverly Hills, making luxury shopping terrifyingly convenient for anyone who loves to buy things but isn’t a gazillionaire (I try to stay away for that very reason). The Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel is right at the 405 and Sunset Boulevard; this is a very smart place to stay for travelers that want to stay centrally located on the west side of Los Angeles. The Luxe Sunset Boulevard is one of the more surprising hotels in Los Angeles – you’d think that, being right near the freeway and busy Sunset, it would be noisy. But it’s not. It’s a quiet respite where you’d least expect it.
The Luxe Sunset Boulevard is more than just a quiet respite near a busy intersection. It has a staff populated by some incredibly talented bartenders and a chef who created to-die-for hors d’ouevres for a holiday event. These appetizers are available for dinners and private parties upon request.
The bartender, Paul, provided a selection of seasonably appropriate drinks too. Excellent! If you enjoy these photos, you’d enjoy being at the Luxe and having a fun time yourself.
While a great time can be had by anyone stopping by the Luxe for cocktails and plain old hanging out, there are some hotel specials and packages that make it very appealing for out-of-towners as well. Here are my favorite picks of the packages and deals available at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard.
Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel Specials and Packages

BFF Package: Here’s a fun, low-key girlfriend getaway opportunity for Angelenos and tourists alike. The Best Friend Forever deal includes all day rental of private poolside cabana, massages for two (these are two 60-minute Swedish Massages) in the Luxe Hotels Sanctuary Spa, tennis court rental and a $50 credit for OnSunset Restaurant.
Luxe Quick Escape Package: This super saver hotel package deal requires reservations at least 21 days prior to the stay, and includes complimentary breakfast and the best price for a stay at Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel.

Anyone planning to vacation in Los Angeles — but who doesn’t want to stay in downtown LA or pay through the nose to stay near the beach — should consider the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel as a terrific alternative.
Thank you to the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel for hosting a holiday event for Los Angeles bloggers.
